Amal Clooney
Amal Clooney (born Amal Ramzi alamuddin) is a Lebanese/British lawyer, human rights activist, and charitable philanthropist. She graduated from Oxford University School of Law and New York University School of Law. The length of her career has earned her international acclaim for her achievements in international law and the field of human rights. Clients include a number of notable nation-states including Armenia and its struggle to have the Turkish Government acknowledge the Armenian Genocide. Amal Clooney got married to American actor George Clooney and became a famous name in popular world of 2014. Before that, she was already famous and respected in legal circles for consistently representing her clients with skill and great success. In the past, she has dealt with human and social rights, to representing several multi-national corporations in their court actions and negotiations over the regulations of government. Since 2015 she served as a barrister at British courts within Doughty Street Chambers.
